Phil Corfield

Phil is Operations Manager for Bright Oak and a Director of the company. Prior to joining Bright Oak in 2008 Phil held operational delivery and customer-service delivery positions within other industries. Phil holds the Edexcel approved Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Debt Resolution. Phil’s primary Bright Oak responsibility is to organise and co-ordinate our resources to deliver best-advice and high-quality service to new and existing clients.

Bright Oak and Phil recognised that his skills and experience would enable us to continue to grow without compromising our fundamental dedication to high-quality personal service.

“When Andrew Graveson first approached me about joining the Bright Oak team I personally researched the UK debt solutions industry. I was sometimes shocked by the sales-orientated and unknowledgeable people in certain companies who pushed me towards the solutions that seemed to suit them. Clearly there was an opportunity for me to contribute to the future development of a client-orientated service with Bright Oak”.

In addition to managing the day to day activities of the company Phil now handles many new enquiries. He also actively manages a significant number of debt management plans on behalf of our existing clients.

“I want to spend as much of my time as possible ‘within’ the operation. It’s the only true way to understand the needs of clients and creditors in order that we can make debt management plans work”.

Phil has done much to assist us in developing our processes and systems to enable us to continue to meet our service commitment.

Phil is a graduate of Cardiff University (Business Management) and has previously held senior positions in other industries.
